WOMEN'S NEWSLETTER
DECEMBER 2008
As the first half of the season has concluded it is timely to reflect on where we are, where we are heading and keep you up to date on things going on at the club.
We are delighted with the healthy increase of numbers this year. 10 players have made their senior debuts this year – the latest being Cara Allen who made 4no against Port in the Bs last Saturday. We have also had 9 new players at Under 13 level.
We had 10 players playing in our first home game for the Under 13s. (eight required)
The result of this has meant the C grade have fielded full teams of 9 each game and the B grade have been short twice.
In recent weeks we have welcomed back Amy White after exam commitments.
We have received a clearance from
We also welcome Brendan Murphy (Murf) our new SACA cricket officer who has assisted us on Fridays and will be an outstanding resource.

Our 92 run opening stand over Prospect and the subsequent tie was a highlight. (RACHAEL GREENSHIELDS AND TAHLIA MCGRATH) Tahlia McGrath making the first 50 in C grade in two seasons.

STOP PRESS

This puts our performance against Prospect look even better as we were the only side to challenge them in the Minor Round. All the best for Christmas and the New Year.
