The Stingrays made it two in a row as we go into the bye next week.
We batted first making 117 (which should have been 20 or so more!!!)
Daniel and Kylie opened with 45 - our best partnership for the season. They were well supported by Cara and Donna with 24. (We did not lose our first wicket until well into the seventh over of the innings.) Courtney and Tahlia made 8 (after losing at least SIX WICKETS!) and Huw and Rachael made 40 to see us into safer ground. The highlight of the final partnership was a very rare EIGHT! with an overthrow on a seven.
We fielded and bowled well holding the Devils to 17, 9, 23 and 19 to see them dismissed for 72. Huw fielded superbly with two spectacular diving catches as a sweeper.
The win puts us securely in the final four with four games to go.
Games resume August 11.

stingers 100 run win
Stingrays completed their biggest wins for the season with a103 run win over Titans.
We bowled accurately and caused the Titans to be very hesitant with their running. They had partnerships of 8, 15, minus 7 and minus 5 to finish with 12.
Our openers Lauren and Donna passed the score with 15, Rachael and Courtney showed the benefit of holiday coaching - with a wide array of new shots - to make 29, Huw and Cara made 30 and Daniel and Kylie 41. Highlights included three SEVENS in five balls from Kylie and Daniel and Kylie running two extra runs on the last ball to make take us to the 100 run win.
Our next game is July 27 - with a bye August 3rd.
OVERSEAS NEWS:
News from Amy White has been very good - she saw all 10 days of the first two Ashes tests in Cardiff and Lords. Very enjoyable - esspecially the nerve wracking finish at Cardiff. She is off to Paris over the next few days then returning home.
