The senior (Under15) team had a 71 run win over the Aldinga Sharks in Round four of Indoor Cricket.
We batted first making 79. We were assisted with the inclusion of former Stingray Tayla Ferguson and prospective Stingray Angus Lock who both performed admirably. Johnny and Cara made 10, Rachael and Donna -3, but Tayla and Brandi scored 23 to take us to 30 and former rivals Thomas and Angus made 49 to take us to a competitive 79. Thomas took some calculated risks in scoring three 7s.
We bowled well with Brandi and Johnny taking six wickets in the first pair to restrict them to -9 and Rachael and Tayla taking five wickets to hold them to -6 with eight overs remaining. Pair three made 20 – but we held the last pair to two.
The Juniors had a bye.
Next week both teams play at 5pm.
