Tahlia wins second Febluary medal

Tahlia McGrath won her second “Febluary” Medal as we went down to Sturt in the last of the T20 games for the season.

She carried her bat for 48 no (the top score for the match) and took the wicket of dangerous Sturt opener Eliza Bartlett.

Batting first we made 2/102.  Tahlia   was well supported by Captain Dayna Cox (20) and a quickfire 23 from Kylie Rattray off 17 balls.

Our highest scoring over was the second last where Tahlia and Kylie took 15 off state bowler Rhianna Peate.

Sturt started their run chase well with 35 off the first three overs.  We took a wicket in the 5^th and two wickets in Kylie Rattray’s third over – but they scored the runs in the 16^th over.
We return to 50 over cricket this week with a game at Park 25 No 1.
