We had two players involved in the National Women’s
competition held in Adelaide over the weekend.
Our two reps are Sarah Taylor and Tahlia McGrath.
This competition runs
throughout the season with three games played over a weekend. There are two T20 games played Friday and Sunday
and a 50 over game played on the Saturday afternoon.
In the T20 game on Sunday Sarah Taylor made 81 no off 51
balls with 12 fours to see SA home in the 16th over.
Earlier in the day T Mac took 2/13 off four overs to make
inroads into the ACT top order. She took
the wicket of Kris Britt (former Australian player) twice over the weekend.
She also took 1/7 off 1.2 overs bowling “at the death” in Friday’s
match.
