A big congrats to our girls involved in the SACA Under
Strikers Cup who won the title on Saturday.
Led by Amy Peterson we won the first game on Saturday by a
run. In the GF we needed eight off the last over and courtesy of two fours from
Amy we won with a ball to spare. Thanks to Sam Betts who coached the team. This comp gave many of our B graders extra
match practice after so many games have been called off this season.
Olivia Lockhart made a PB (4) to partner Cara Allen in a 50
run eighth wicket stand to see us fall nine runs short in the Bs.
Kensis made 89 with Brandi continuing her good form with
three wickets and Stella Lockhart taking her PB with 2/18.
We took five catches and earned two run outs (that’s four
ros in two games!!!) in the field. Sam Dowling took two really hard ones in
usual nonchalant fashion!!!
Cara scored a PB of 36 no to almost see us home.
The As copped a rampant West Torrens (who we played in a T20
on Tuesday.!!!) This time Brooke Harris
scored a 100no to make 3/238. This was always going to be a big ask. We made 73
with Tabby topscoring with 24.
Congrats to Erin Temme who was presented with her A grade “baggy
red.”
Don’t forget functions on March 15 and 31.
We have the As at home on Sunday and the Bs at Port.
