Great Awards night

We had a great Awards Evening on March 26.

 

 Over 60 players, parents and guests enjoyed the presentation of A, B and C grade top batters, bowlers and fielders awards.

 

A big thank you to Genieveve Brideson who did all the organising and Jonathon who provide the slide show for the evening.

 

Our guest presenters included Southern Life Member Grae MacKinnon, Prospect Coach Robyne LeCournu and Umpire David Nickolls.

 

C grade Awards were won by Amy White / Cara Allen (batting) Tianna Muirhead (bowling) and Gail Ward (fielding and coach's award.)

 

B grade Awards were won by Courtney Brideson (batting), Kayla McGrath (bowling and fielding) and Cara Allen (Coach's Award.)

 

A grade Awards were won by Jess O'Reilly (batting), Tahlia McGrath (bowling) and Dayna Cox (fielding).  Donna Clark (bowling) and Kylie Rattray (batting) won the coach's awards.

 

The CRICKETER OF THE YEAR was Tahlia McGrath and the "drop kick" was won by Shari Bray.

 

Tahlia also won the SACA Dot Laughton trophy which is given to a player in her first or second year who has high skill level and been a positive influence around the club
