Kensis took 115 off the first 12 overs to set up their
score.
Our reply saw Jess make her best score for the season with
35 out of our 80. The best partnership
was 21 between Jess and Alecia.
Chloe Dancer hit her first 4 in the As.
The Bs lost wickets at regular intervals to be dismissed for
27.
Caitlin Secoffien and Tayla Smith took early wickets to have
Sturt 2/3 in the second over, but they passed us in the eighth over.
The encouraging part of the weekend was the fact that both
teams had a full set of players (with no Mums!)
It looks as if we will pick up three new players in the new
year to play A grade. We continue to recruit
new players with Erin Temme and Shavani Sahni making their Southern debuts over
the weekend.
Don’t forget the Christmas show on Saturday night at the
Oval.
