As and Bs washed out Cs lose to Kensington

 

 

On what was supposed to be our biggest weekend of cricket with five games scheduled – we only played one on a hard wicket at Park 25.

 

The 50 mls of rain on Friday meant curators could not prepare wickets for Saturday or Sundays matches.

 

The Cs lost to Kensington – but welcomed Hannah Baker to our ranks.  Hannah fielded very well missing one very difficult catch and taking another "blinder!" and finished 6no (including one boundary.)

 

Kensys batted first making 90. Tianna (five wickets for the season) and Hannah Armstrong (10 wickets for the season) took wickets and Hannah Armstrong and Kayla McGrath combined for a run out.

 

Hannah Armstrong and Kayla McGrath also combined for the best partnership of the innings of 20.
