The C grade continued their good form over Port completing three wins out of three for the season.
Batting first we made 80 off our 20 overs with Hannah Armstrong making her maiden "30" for the season. Opening the batting she scored her runs at a run a ball with six fours.
She was well supported by Kayla McGrath (41 run partnership) and sister Kelly (seven runs). We had the Port side in early trouble with a run out in the second over and wickets to Kayla McGrath and Kelly Armstrong in the fourth and eighth over.
Kayla took the prize wicket bowling Port top run scorer of recent seasons Sonia Mangelson ( her sister Tahlia dismissed her in similar fashion two years ago!!!!)
Kayla bowled very accurately to finish with 1/1 off four overs (that run was a wide – which caused a run out!)
The A grade T 20 game saw a good 7th wicket stand between Courtney Brideson and Marg Hay – which put on 28 to give us 52 off our 20 overs.
The result was similar in the B grade as the Eagles set us 104 off 20 overs. We made 38 with Rachael Greenshields making a solid 14.
A big thank you to the Mums who filled in as fielders in the
