Both A and B grade games were washed out due to overnight rain.
Thanks to everyone who reported for games – including Georgia Weatherspoon who caught the 8.30 am boat from Kangaroo Island to get to Port Adelaide!!!! (Fortunately she had an appointment on Monday.)
C grade
The C grade comp will take the form of Supa Sixes for the next month. We have been asked to nominate two teams ( parents, sisters are most welcome to play.) We will work with other clubs to make sure all players get games. The format will be similar to Indoor cricket with pairs batting for four overs and players losing runs for wickets lost.
States of play:
The Bs are equal top after four rounds. They have three wins and a draw to be second behind Adelaide Uni by four points (bonus points for runs and wickets.) We are 13 points clear of West Torrens and 24 points clear of fourth placed TTG/Northern. Marg Hay has had scores of 50 and 29, Brandi has four wickets so far.
The Cs finished 12 points clear of second placed Kensington. This should ensure them the Premiership as there is unlikely to be a grand final in this comp. Hannah Armstrong leads the batting in this comp with 124 runs at 62.2. Emily Armstrong was our top wicket taker with seven.
The As have one catch up game against East Torrens on February 26. We can finish above fifth placed Sturt should we win and Sturt lose to current leaders TTG/ Northern. Tahlia McGrath leads our batting with 265 runs (inc T20 runs), Dayna is our top wicket taker with 13.
