Our second T20 game was highlighted with the return of Tahlia McGrath.
Northern made an above par 2/160 - losing their first wicket in the 15th over for 123.
State rep Tegan McFarline got away from us with 79 off 61.
We had moments we were able to stem the run rate and our fielding in the second part of the innings were good.
Our openers Rachael (24 off 36) and Tahlia 47 off 42 gave us a great start with 20 off the first two overs, but the introduction of state spinner H Perry stemmed the run rate as did the loss of wickets.
We finished 32 runs short.
Rachael continued her good form (23 last week) and at one stage was scoring at better than a run a ball (18 off 17.)
Chloe Lyons scored her first of many runs at A grade.
We have our first 50 over game at Christies High next Sunday.
