Chloe has a PB -

The T20 loss to West Torrens and the win of Northern against top team Kensington has meant we need to win our last two games and await the result of other games to see if we can defend our T20 title.

We played on a very slow running Henley High School. (only two fours were hit all game)
West Torrens batted first with the openers taking 31 off our first eight overs.  The introduction of spinners Chloe Lyons and Rachael Greenshields saw a mini collapse as we took 3/8 in four overs.

Kylie kept well with two catches and a stumping.
Chloe bowled with good loop and forced the batters to make pace on their shots.  She had stumping, a catch at the wicket and Jess took one at cover.  3/19 are her PB in A Grade.

We had them 5/64 in the 15th but their last three batters scrambled 24 off the last five overs to finish with 6/88.
We opened well with 8 off the first two overs but 13 for the first wicket and 15 for the fifth wicket were the best of our partnerships.

Rachael continued her good form with 11 and Brandi top scored with 16 off 40 balls.

Thanks to Lana Martin who played her first game for the club.
