The State Under 15 team finished fourth in the National Championships held in Sydney recently. We lost to eventual champions NSW and to the ACT in the minor round.
In the last game against WA we needed a big win but could not score enough points to get over Victoria (who we had beaten in the minor round.)
Southern players had good tournaments with some excellent performances.
Tabitha Saville was our topscorer with 162 runs at 23 - with a strike rate of 89 runs / 100 balls. Tabitha scored a PB of 55 against WA.
Hannah Armstrong scored her PB with a 60 against WA.
Kelly Armstrong took nine wickets at 11.33 apiece (with 3/9 against Victoria)
Kayla McGrath hit 27 against NSW.

The A grade's next game T20 against Port at Bice is very important for our quest for the GF in that competition on March 3.
The win of Kensington over West Torrens sees them with a chance to make the final as they have East Torrens in the next round.
Second team TTG / Northern will go ahead of us on percentage after their big win over Port this weekend.
**************************************************************************
This week we have TTG / Northern in a 50 over game Saturday and the Bs play at home at Bice on Sunday against Port in their last T20 game for the season.
The B grade season will recommence the second Sunday in January with 40 over games.

Don't forget the TWILIGHT RACE MEETING this Saturday evening...
and start getting your teams together for the Quiz night on January 19.
