In a game very much affected by the windy conditions we were very competitive against last years SACA Women's Premiers West Torrens.
Losing the toss we had a wicket in the first over with DAYNA COX taking the first wicket LBW from the 3rd legal delivery of the match.
Tahlia McGrath was the most economical of the 10 over bowlers with 1/23 off 10 overs. Kylie Rattray bowled well with 0/9 off five and Jade Ambler did some hard yakka into the breeze to finish with two wickets.
Kate Weger kept exceptionally well with no byes in the 222 runs scored.

However, despite some resolute batting from Jade (97 minutes) and Jess Vincent (23 minutes) we were bowled out for 187.

Ø The first runs scored off the bat in our innings were scored by Captain Shari Bray
Ø The first wicket was taken by Dayna Cox who had A Cleggett lbw for 0 on the third legitimate ball of the innings
Ø Shari Bray took the first catch in A grade – a slips catch off Jessica Vincent
Ø Opposition captain Angela Moritz had a 17 ball over (with 11 wides ) with her 7th over and 28th of the innings
Ø With the very strict interpretations of one-day wides in A grade we bowled 46 and
